Working in high school at a local pizza shop John Schnatter liked the pizza business. John soon worked his way through college making pizzas. After graduating from Ball State University with a business degree John would be faced with his first business adventure. John’s father was facing a 64,000 dollar business debt. John soon took over by selling his car to buy some restaurant equipment knocked down some walls and began selling pizzas to his father’s customers helping his father’s business. This helped John develop the food chain of pizzas you see today called Papa John’s pizza first opened in 1985 and is the fastest growing pizza company in the United States.
